To prepare for the delivery of your water tank, we ask that you read through the following information. To ensure that your delivery takes place as smoothly as possible, we ask that you provide us with as much information and detail as possible, where applicable.

If we have not received the requested information at least 7 days prior to the day of delivery, we may not be able to deliver your water tank as scheduled.
PREPARATION OF BASE
You must follow the Stainless Steel Water Tanks Base Preparation Guide (“the Base Preparation Guide”). Failure to follow the Base Preparation Guide may mean that the Warranty for your water tank is not valid and will not become valid until the base meets all requirements in the Base Preparation Guide to the satisfaction of Stainless Steel Water Tanks.
At the time of delivery of the water tank, our delivery driver will notify you if your base does not meet the requirements as set out in the Base Preparation Guide. Your Warranty will not be valid until the base meets all the requirements set out in the Base Preparation Guide.
The risk of the water tank being damaged or destroyed is significantly higher if you have a crushed rock and/or crusher dust base and you do not follow the Base Preparation Guide.

UNLOADING THE TANK
Our water tanks are transported on a flatbed trailer towed by a utility vehicle. Our water tanks are loaded on their side and will need to be unloaded at your property from the side of the trailer and not the rear of the trailer. The water tanks are not able to be rolled or carried into position and they cannot be lifted over high obstacles.
It is preferred that the delivery driver pulls up next to or as close as possible to the base to enable the water tank to be unloaded directly onto the base. If this will not be possible, alternate procedures are available. However you must provide us with as much information as possible prior to delivery in relation to the access to the base so that we can ensure the delivery driver has the correct equipment available to unload the water tank. If you do not provide us with enough information in relation to access to the base prior to delivery of the water tank, we may not be able to deliver your water tank as scheduled. Should this occur and a second delivery is required due to a failure to provide critical information at the first attempt for delivery, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for delivery
WARRANTY
Upon delivery of the water tank, any warranty relating to the water tank will not be activated until we have received the following documents:
1. Signed Acknowledgment of Warranty Certificate. This must be returned to us within fourteen days of the date of delivery, otherwise the Warranty may become void.
2. Signed Acknowledgment of Delivery. This must be signed at the time of delivery.
3. Photographs from the water tank once it has been installed, including but not limited to proof that the water tank has been positioned on to the base, overflow has been plumbed away and ball valves attached. These photographs must be emailed to Stainless Steel Tanks within thirty days of delivery.

DELIVERY DELAYS
Please note that we have limited space in our factory to store water tanks. We understand that circumstances can change and delays can occur that are outside your control which may result in the delivery of the water tank being delayed. However, once the water tank enters production, if we are required to delay delivery of the water tank, we may be required to store the water tank off-site. If we are required to store the water tank off-site, Stainless Steel Tanks may charge a $40.00 fee per week for each water tank that is stored off-site until the date of actual delivery.
Delivery of water tanks that are over 3000mm in diameter is highly dependent on the weather on the delivery date. Strong winds may mean that we are unable to safely transport the water tank to your property, which may mean we are required to reschedule the delivery at short notice based on the weather if we are unable to safely transport the water tank. We will always strive to re-book the delivery for the next suitable day based on predicted wind speeds. You agree that Stainless Steel Tanks will not be liable for any loss suffered by you arising from a rescheduling of the delivery caused by any weather event.
